What it ain't?  Unfortunately, there are some things even the best cymbal care cleaner can't do.

Kick'N Brass® may have a less than desirable effect on some alloys in very old cymbals and in some of the less expensive brands.  This is about 5% of all cymbals in use today.

If a cymbal surface has “turned,” that is, oxidized to the point in which the surface is permanently etched, you may need our other product, Kick’N Brass® GRUNGE, to bring it back. (Check out our NEWS for information about “GRUNGE”.) Afterward original Kick'N Brass should be used to keep the cymbal looking this way for years.
